Daft question about the 'data plate' on van regarding weight.

I'm sure I've read the answer on here before and indeed think I know the answer but is the weight on the data plate on my 2005 Puck 120 GT the total weight including my kit?
It says 650kg on the plate and the total today when I weighed the van unladen it was 520kg so I guess I have around 130kg to play with?

Sorry again for the daft question but everything I learnt in my first year has well and truly been lost over a long winter!

yes thats correct, the 650kg is you maximum laden weight and you should not exceed that when loaded, you have 130kg payload to play with
