Hi and welcome to Eribafolk.

We're all a bit confused as to which bit you mean. Let's start from here::-

Yes it sounds like these ones

Check the walls for damp that may have weakened them otherwise your solution sounds reasonable.

A reminder to everyone not to do the elastic cords too tight, ..........after all they only need to hold the curtains in place.

Hi and
Do you mean the actual rail has come away from the ceiling??? We did glue ours back and added a couple of small screws.

..thank you, I am just getting to know "Hettie", she is far from perfect and is very basic but is still uber cool! Should be interesting on our first trip-if the rain ever ends- have never towed before but she seemed very well behaved when my friend collected her. Currently searching for an awning have enquired after two so far but it seems people add an e mail contact then don't check for e mails.....odd.

Sorry I wasn't clearer, it's the hooks that hold the elasticated shock cords, and as other post suggest, they have detached from the flimsy inner board panel. I have sorted plenty of shock cord, and have a cunning plan for forming the loops...a simple knot will knot do...and the original small metal crimps seem impossible to source. If it works I will post a picture or two and a brief "how to"
