We use a traditional aerial that will fold flat, a three piece pole and a jockey wheel clamp Clamp

As for a dongle, we used one for years until we bought a 16" TV. This is the one we used Dongle but I notice that it's not suitable for modern (windows 10) computers. It worked really well though.

We use an Avtex STH3000 Boosted Caravan TV Aerial perched on a Vision Plus pole that rests on the ground and is secured by a removable plastic bracket that clips on to the awning rail. It can be set up to take its power from an Avtex TV. Good results so far.

If you have an iPhone or Android phone you should be able to tether your laptop to that, rather than a separate dongle.

You can watch tv online via the tvplayer website, or if you have an iPad they have an app you can use.

On our first couple of outings we used an iPad Pro tethered to an iPhone to watch tv which worked really well. Only considerations are that you need a reasonable mobile signal and a decent amount of data allowance as it can use quite a lot.

We use an Avtex aerial and telly and get good reception and coverage. Digital TV in the UK is now a much stronger signal since the analogue network
was shut down.
We also use a 3 MiFi dongle for Internet access but not for television because the cost of the data requirement for downloading TV is prohibitive.

I'm now out of my depth. The dongle we used just plugged into the USB on the computer and the aerial on the other, thus turning the computer into a Freeview TV.

This looks to be an updated version that is suitable for Windows 10, 8 and 7. Dongle

A MiFi is a small rechargeable battery-powered device (dongle is a bit of a misnomer because it sort of implies sticking it into the side of something else) which provides a portable WiFi hotspot to which you can connect a phone, tablet or laptop - anything which relies on a wireless connection, really.

You insert a data sim into it and it does what your router at home does, but on a smaller scale. How well it works depends on the strength of the signal it receives via the sim, and there's a limit to the number of things you can connect to it because it will only carry so much data.

A modern smartphone can create a WiFi hotspot in essentially the same way.
