Grey waste from the sink

My son is due round later to help replace the broken tube, found on arrival at the Spring Meet with new tube I bought the other day.

He's helping me because of my failing lack of strength, agility and nous.

I am guessing the tube goes right up to the bottom of the sink which is hidden up behind the removable cutlery drawer. Might be a difficult place to get to.

First removing by refrigeration device water pushing system valve complex.
Push thumb button up while releasing sheep clamp.
Withdraw sub assembled device holding drain nose point.
Assemble is backwards of disassemble.

But you knew that anyway I guess........

Derek, your son may find it easier by unscrewing the sink strainer which will allow the elbow under the sink to drop down making it more accessible to replace the waste pipe.
Also it's a good idea to secure the waste pipe to the elbow with a tie-wrap.

Simply a poor attempt at humour on a cold grey morning

Thanks. JOB JOBBED. Dead easy as long as you can lie and work in a confined space. James did it and when we examined the initial situation there was another connection from a drain on the cooker panel, I suppose if you washed that down but Carole gives that a good wipe but not a wet wash.

James asked me about the water pump problem I explained earlier and found....a loose connection, which I had disturbed when fiddling with the pipe. Another Job Jobbed. Brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!
