Hi

We've been quoted £360 for converting our Truma gas heater to dual Gas/Electric. Has anyone else had this done and what did you get charged?

Thanks

Mike

I did it myself, it's not difficult.

All you have to do is fit a switched 240v spur from the power supply (BIP unit in our case) and then follow the detailed instructions supplied with the unit.

Thanks both. Not sure I'm ready to start doing DIY caravan electrics.

Think I'll stick with a small electric radiator.

If that includes the cost of the electric unit and the remote sensor thats not bad at all in my opinion
