Last year I asked the group how to go about repairing our shower tap, which had started to come apart, leaking water into the below-sink locker.

Aaron Calder had had the same problem at round about the same time, and he posted a very detailed and illustrated "How To" guide.

As luck would have it, although my tap still looked as if it was ready to fall to pieces, it must have got clogged up with calcium because the leak stopped. So, me being me, I put it off until later ...
