Yes we do the lock and thump, nothing else works

Thank you all for your much appreciated advice the penny has dropped and I think its me that needs the thump on the noggin. Or perhaps I have had to many thumps on the noggin with the Eriba kiss.

Just gone out again with a fresh view on the subject. With the handles in the fully open position I put the key in the key barrel and turned the key barrel into the lock position. I then turned the handles into the lock position pushing the handles gently towards the caravan BINGO!

Once again thank you for your time on this subject and I hope someone else benefits from this thread.
