He would seem to be the kind of upright and trustworthy gentleman worthy of one's acquaintance, and no mistake.

Is it the very same John England of this parish?

If it is, I would venture to suggest that he would be a fine, fine catch for many an eligible young lady. For a chap to be both dashing and practical is a rare combination indeed, and yet more so if he is the man of means his attributes suggest.

Were you able to make a quick sketch of him as he worked, perchance?

I fail to see how he could be anything other than extraordinarily handsome.
