Al-ko hitch

Hi, I wonder if you could help, I want to buy a hitch lock but it seems I need to know what hitch I have, I've found these numbers but can't identify a lock for it can you help please. Numbers are Al-ko BGM42282 R2/S 1995 RDW 10010098

Hi thanks for your reply it's similar to the AK300 instead of the red bit under the handle its got a metal bit so I'm guessing it's an older AK300

We have an AKS 3004 and are looking for a suitable hitchlock - would this one be ok, or is it over the top? If the latter any suggestions for a decent cheaper alternative?

The ak300 I bought doesn�t fit my hitch I�m guessing the one in the picture above looks similar to my 1995 model

Hi Jim.

I wonder if you have a BPW Hitch and not an ALKO 300 Hitch? Although, reading your thread again, you quote an ALKO number. Can you upload a pic of your hitch for us to see?

As far as I'm aware the BPW T Pole Chassis has a round tube profile and the ALKO T Pole Chassis has a rectangular tube profile.

Hi Randa thanks for your reply, I don't have a close enough picture to post as its in storage till April but it looks more like the BPW than the 300 but it has the 2 bolt holes in the side like the 300 but the Handle is rounded like the BPW picture, the hitch lock almost reaches the lock catches that come with the lock it's as if the handle is about 5mm too tall for the hitch lock.
