According to our Eriba friends on forumeribatouring the way to read serial numbers on modern Eribas is as follows:-
62 (Troll) 10 (Year) 42 (Number) 04 (Series or Model)

Cernay.
Today, we visited the site of the old Eriba Touring factory at Cernay. Sadly no more. However, two ex-employees set up in a large unit on the site and according to Eriba BinBin (Forum Eriba), bought up a lot of the exisiting stock.
They are now called "Ateliers de Vehicules de Loisirs" (16, Avenue d' Alsace) and are only about 1 mile from the campsite. They had many vehicles in for repair so it was nice to see them doing so well.
