Does anyone remember the original P and P post of a couple of years ago?

Well, today I was presented with Werbung: one of these .(Link)

Never seen them before but Wow; Comfy, warm and despite your howls of laughter, the LED light can be very useful not only for fishing but camping or anything else where you need your hands free and the light is hardly noticeable when off.

I remember the original search for the perfect hat. You better guard that one as it could be just what Pete is looking for!

Sheesh!

Eighty four quid?

For a hat?

I'd be wanting more than a stiffened peak in a hat that cost eighty four quid. A lot more.

It'd need to protect me from a falling anvil or grand piano at the very least.

Mrs SDA knitted me a new helmet a few weeks ago. Same as the old helmet but a tighter fit. The old one had lost its tension and flew off in the slightest breeze. She's now working on a matching muffler.

They're shown here http://www.woolbaa.com.au/store/26-/2362- scroll down the page to a young man in a pale grey ensemble, I've got them in old man mid blue.

Muffler is currently 26" long. Any idea how long a good muffler should be?

I'm just so pleased that the Gloucester meet is in July so we won't have to see him wearing the horrible thing.
