Motor Mover Query

Hello Folk

We're considering buying a Triton with a Reich Easydriver basic 1.8 motor mover. We're a bit concerned though that it's ground clearance is minimal and might create problems - see photo attached.

Has anyone had experience of this type?

many thanks

Scot,
I have a 2017 Triton fitted with this mover. Yes it does look low and I did wonder if it would ground out.
What you need to consider is the suspension mounts are infact lower than the mover and would make contact first.
Since collection I have towed about 4,000 miles, including a channel crossing to France. The boarding and alighting of the boat traditionally thought of as opportunity for things to make contact with the ground, but no problems.
This mover is supposed to be a superior product to earlier Reich movers, is enclosed so less likely to problems and comes with a 5yr guarantee instead of 2yr.
I am happy with my purchase.

Agree. We also have a Reich mover and haven't experienced any problems so far touch wood.

Many thanks, Colin and Deeps - very reassuring.

By the way, Colin, I noticed you've got a rear cycle carrier. We were told that this may give a problem as a result of puncturing the skin, and a ball cycle carrier on the towing hitch frame was preferable. - I guess you didn't agree?

Apologies Colin - I should have searched through old posts! Now getting the hang of this. I see you've answered this in full recently.

That's really helpful - many thanks. I don't think I'm going to be as ambitious!
