What's the best cover for a Triton?

Hi
We have just shut our nice new Triton down for the winter. It is going to be outside so we think a cover would be a good idea.
Anyone got any suggestions as to which make/model is the best?
Any advice gratefully received!

Rich/Lucy,
unless you want to spend £100's for a taylor made cover, eg Protec, you could go this route:-
Kampa Prestige [generic] Caravan Cover
And another picture of it fitted with van on axle stands here:-
#6 Roof Cover?

we have a new protec and the ease of use and the excellent fit was well worth the cost if you can afford it

We have an Automotive Leisure one. It fits very well.
Its not the most hardwearing material (we have ripped it) but it does the job.
Our van is in a barn now, so great for keeping the bird poo off of it!

On our old van we had a Protec , very good but very heavy and a bit of a effort to put on . Delivery was very poor , we now have a A /L cover for our Triton , much lighter and easier to put on ,fairly tight fit over the roll out awning , but half the price of the Protec .

Aldi (Maypole) generic cover £64 it's a bit big but covers up a treat only you have to put on opposite way round, the tail to the nose, so you can use the access door while covered. Plus it's light and big so you can sit in and pop the roof to air it in winter.

Protec cover came with my newly bought s/hand Triton 420 and fits very well. However obvious that the flue has damaged it. Repaired it then set to thinking about preventing same happening again.

Now, I can already hear the sharp intake of breaths with my idea. I unscrewed the offending flue cap and place a tennis ball in the top of the flue, A perfect fit. There is now a smooth surface for the cover to be pulled over and rest upon.

Back to the sharp intake of breaths re blocking the flue. The flue cap etc is strategically placed in the caravan so cannot be missed when caravan emerges from its winter cocoon.

And more importantly "She who must be Obeyed" has been instructed to berate me of none fitting of flue cap. (S.W.M.B.O has never been known to fail on this score). Carbon monoxide alarm is fully functional as well.
Regards Wardy.

Hi Wardy,

That is the tried and tested way to protect your cover from the flue. Well done.
