and mine!
Anybody going to fix theirs to the fairing?
Had a quick look at mine today and the answer would seem to be to remove the old cable holder (1 bolt) and make a new bracket to replace it
with the new green bit attached that way there is no need to drill into the skirt.

Incidentally, I'm worried about Pete. He hasn't chipped in yet to pooh-pooh our green wotsits.
Is he ill?
I'm fine, but thanks ever so much for asking. You're a smasher, you are. Nothing like the picture others paint of you at all.
I'm loath to say this, but I've had a green thing for several months. Long, indeed, before Rodney burst on to the forum furiously waving his own green thing as if he'd just invented nylon pantyhose.
Being a modest kind of cove, I chose not to trumpet my green thing.
I must admit, however, that I did smile the self-satisfied smile of an early bird with both his pockets full of worms as I watched the child-like excitement which swept the forum as you all dropped your jammy dodgers and forgot about your Ribena as you sprinted to the keyboard to order one yourselves.

I have the new single 13 pin plug on the car and two 7 pin on the van. I bought an adapter that fits directly into the 13 pin on the car with no wires. The 13 pin socket just turns then aligns the adapter and secures into the socket (no pushing it just pulls in secure) the two 7 pins then just connect up into the adapter. To take the adapter off just reverse and it just drops off easy.

Aspinalls Caravans-Camping on Amazon are selling them did not get mine from there though. I have tried to put picture on don't know if it will work. But they are called
13 Pin Plug to 12N/12S Sockets **EU SPLIT** I can recommend them really easy to put on and store when not in use and no trailing wires tidy.

Just ordered a green thingy. I've been having trouble with my 13 pin plug but assumed it was me being all fingers and thumbs. Then I came across this thread ,the mist lifted, and I saw the light. Thank you

After 13yrs of eriba ownership I only came across the green thingies having seen this post. At £3 they are worth buying. They keep things lined up and I think keep the weather away from the contacts when not hitched up. Go on treat yourself, it's Christmas.
