Yes, that's a good idea and, as you say, it'd look as though the stickers are affixed to the window. As you only get one shot at it, you have to be sure it works. What I did with the tax disc circles was to cut out a bit of cardboard that was heavier than any of the Emission stickers and had that on the windscreen for a few days.

The clear self cling material you suggest should work as it is probably lighter than acetate and will have a full surface area to cling by..

Funny you should raise this again Randa, chatting with my pal last Sunday I mentioned that we were going to have to get the Critair sticker and he said in his capacity as a MOT inspector that he wouldn't fail a car with a small sticker in the top right hand corner of a windscreen as he did not feel that it was directly in the drivers sight line

Our Critair sticker is in the required position and has passed its MOT this week.
In the light of Roger�s recent difficulty I printed out the VOSA explanations of the requirements and was prepared to argue the case with the examiner. However the subject did not arise.

My French registered UK car has the sticker in the top right otherwise it would obstruct my right hand drive car!!!!!!

Weird, the UK has recently got rid of the only mandatory sticker required and the French are busy breeding them.
