your actual height should be 218cm, but the van will have settled with age by a couple of cm's. Please do do attempt to go through the 2m barrier.
You should get charged class 2 on the French tolls, but we have often been charged the class 1 rate when going through a manned kiosk as the [usually] nice lady cannot see the marker or has been in a good mood . I do not recall this happening on an unmanned/auto barrier.
