Ah, but I was careful to be specific and not generic.
'Well the rain came, I thought you'd leave
'Cos I knew how much you loved the sun.
But you chose to stay, stay and keep me warm
Through the darkest nights I've ever known'.

We've just put our Puch in a similar garage. We have a slope up to it but Debbie and I managed to push it up so presumably not as steep as yours. What I did notice, and something to be careful of is when pushing it out. When going forwards, as yours will, the brake is quite awkward to operate to control the descent and you may need to exercise caution. The brake works better when reversing as it pulls itself on. I have an escape route over the front lawn if required!
Your garage door looks the same as ours and I had to adjust the level of the van using the jockey wheel as it left the garage to avoid contact with the door handle.
Also a thought, our van is close to the wall, what would happen if the tyre went flat ?

Hmm, I should have tested out her ability to push a puck up a slope before determining my choice of life partner....strangely it didn't seem to come up at the time.
I did think about the control when pushing her out of the garage, as presumably the winch ratchets work when pulling, but not releasing back down. Will have to be very careful as unfortunately no escape route! The plan is to anchor a ring to the garage floor and attach the winch to the puck hitch, so she will go in hitch first, which means that she will be reversing out.
Our garage is just the right height for clearance with about a couple of inches to spare....we did have to adjust the jockey wheel to prevent the spare wheel from catching on the lip of the slope when reversing in. Ours too is close the wall on one side....will have to use a ratchet spanner to lower the corner steadies on that side as there is not enough clearance for the long thing (no idea what its called, but you know what I mean!).

I always rely on my missus who is a good navigator, cook, chief bottle washer, and Troll mover. However, there's a good point here.
If you arrive at a campsite that could give you difficulty in moving the Eriba, take a look around first at your new neighbours. Always go for a Dutch person. Not only are they really helpful, the Dutch ladies are very, very strong. At a campsite in Provence, we once had a really charming Dutch girl who almost pulled our Troll of the pitch single handedly.

They're all on the north coast.
When staying at St Agnes Beacon a few years ago a big convoy of Dutch caravanistas turned up. I'm not sure how strong the ladies were but they certainly knew how to party.

Quote: steamdrivenandy wrote in post #24The first half was a turgid affair, the drabness of the day matched only by the drabness on the pitch. That tedium was broken in spectacular fashion when Andy Steam sliced the ball into his own net following his misplaced stereotyping of Audi drivers in a recent thread on Eribafolk.
Que???
With only three minutes remaining, a horribly missed clearance fell to the feet of the right wing wizard Le Pew who took advantage of the hapless defender's lack of Dutch geographical knowledge, rounded the flat-footed goalkeeper and smote the ball into the empty net with an exuberant flourish.

Sorry, but I have to disallow that goal.
Holland does have a South Coast (and estuary) as seen on this map:- 1200px-Map_provinces_Netherlands-en.svg.png - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)
It's the Netherlands that doesn't have a South Coast.

What's this?
Some pedant in the crowd has questioned the referee!
It goes to a video replay. The stadium is hushed.
Seconds drag into minutes. The sense of anticipation is almost palpable; the atmosphere electric.
And here's the verdict!
The original decision is upheld!
There is no such place as South Holland!
Hurrah! Team Le Pew's inexorable march continues!

No such place as South Holland? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Holland
So the Hoek van Holland does't exist? Don't remember the ferry deciding to turn back to Harwich last year because its destination wasn't there.
