Anti draught skirt?

Hi All,
I’ve just bought a nice Kampa Pop Air 340 awning for our Triton.
I think there are anti draught skirts included, if not I will get some.
The only thing is, there is no obvious channel on the side for the skirts to be fitted in.
I’m pretty sure that they have not been removed, as I believe there would be signs of that.
Can anyone please shed any light on the fitting of skirts.
I could fix some additional awning rail to the van, but would first like to find out if I’m missing something.
Thank you in anticipation of any replies.
Russ

The Kampa does come with a draft skirt.
On the bottom edge of your Triton is an aluminium trim. If you get down onto the floor all will become clear. You may want to give the inside of this a good clean and when dry a squirt of PTFE spray.

Thanks for the quick reply Colin.
I had a look this morning but it wasn’t obvious, although this is my first Eriba so may be slightly different to my previous caravan, and less obvious.
I’ll have a closer look when I’m home.

Its on the bottom inside edge underneath, you cant see it but you should be able to feel it with your fingers, its worth opening the first 1/2" either side of the wheel with a flat blade screwdriver to make it easier to slide the skirt in.

Brilliant, I’m sure I will find it tomorrow.
Thanks Dave!

Found and sorted...
Many thanks to Colin and Dave.
I’m almost ready to get out and use it for the first time.
Next weekend, all being well! 😁

The Kampa pop air comes with a skirt, but doesn’t have anything for over the top of the wheel arch, we bought a generic one, we already had poppers on the side of our eriba.
Hope this helps

Just read this post and found it very informative. We have also purchased the Kampa to fit our Triton 410 and have been looking at various ways to attach the draft skirt. We were getting her out this week to try, now it seems there maybe an answer. Just have to wait for the snow to clear now and I can go and have a look. Thanks chaps

Joan,
take a couple of clothes pegs with you and a pair of scissors, as you have a new Triton. When you slide the skirt into place it cannot go to the very back of the van due to the new plastic rear end trim. You will need to make a small cut about 400/500mm from the end and feed the skirt out of the track and clothes peg it to the awning side. Sounds more difficult than it is in reality.

Hi Colin,

Thanks for the tip although our Erica is a 2007- 410. Hopefully we will still be able to attach it. Always have pegs and scissors on board though. Still snowing here in Kent but Erica is nice and snug under her cover

You will not need scissors then, should fit fine. It was your picture that fooled me into thinking you had a newer shape van.
