It is back, for a minute I thought it was me, it still has gremlins but obviously AOL problem

Often such gremlins aren't the ISP's fault but a blip in the service by whoever runs the local lines. In the UK BT/Openreach.

It's always worth checking on Google. This is from half an hour or so ago.

Judging by the number of results when you search for AOL mail problems, it isn't uncommon.

Although it's a faff, I think I might bin AOL and set up a gmail account instead.

AOL have been around since about 1863, and sometimes it shows.

I have an email account with AOL, over the last few months it has driven me up the wall. Can't log in as it doesn't recognise the password. Change password, no doesn't recognise the new one. Leave it for a day and you can log in, 2 days later no login. I've moved to another provider and am in the process of letting everyone know. Just can't rely on it
