I can see how it makes the pulling on easier on a WWB like we have, but the amount of faffing time getting it neatly set up beforehand sort of matches the amount of time you save getting the awning up on to the top of the rail the 'normal' way. So no net gain.
As for an Eriba, you have no front rail to have heave an awning up on, you just slide into a horizontal rail and that rail is at about 6ft high and not 8ft as on a WWB. So I can't see any potential benefit.
Air awnings tend to be quite heavy beasts to lift and get started into a rail but I'm not sure this device will help that initial lift. If that's the problem I'd suggest putting the awning on a table to get it halfway to the awning rail, shortening the lift and the table should still be taking some of the weight.
And if pulling the awning through the rail is difficult, then a spray with any silicone based furniture polish in the rail will make it zip through so fast you'll meet yourself pushing at the other end.
