When looking for yet another awning/sunshade on eBay, I happened upon a post for an Eriba Troll sunshade ( the seller claimed that she and her partner no longer had their Troll 540GT). A sunshade I've never seen before and one that I instantly took a shine to. The seller had listed the asking price at £250 plus collection. It was/is listed as used but in excellent condition with no makers name (apparently the item wasn't immediately available but stored somewhere else?). I liked it so contacted the seller through eBay asking why no bids were invited and was £250 the bottom line.
Her reply was that they had 'bought it with the Troll leaving me to assume that it was included in the deal, the van having been purchased abroad and they had no idea of it's worth so thought £250 was a reasonable asking price. She said they were open to offers. So, I did some research on new/used prices for all the usual suspects who sold sunshades/awnings etc. I concluded that the asking price was a bit ambitious for a used item with no other details such as buying price, manufacturer and the fact it was collection only plus cash. Anyway I made an offer which I thought was a good offer for what it was and the cost to obtain it.
Her reply did not acknowledge my offer but she did say that there had been many enquiries and several were watching. I replied that I found it strange that some were watching but eBay hadn't entered the number of watchers. I then noted that it had been relisted for another week. Bidding starts at £250 and now with free delivery. A pity because we really liked it.
You can find it in Motorhome Parts & Accessories > Awnings > Eriba Troll Canopy/Awning with Skirt & Wheel Cover. The seller is threellamas.
Your comments would be welcome.

I noticed this soon after listing and it does look nice. I do not however recognise the canopy. Low definition photos make the job of recognition difficult, but it does appear to have the excellent aluminium easi-system poles used by Movera/Wigo, commonly available in Germany and Belgium.
If I am correct then it is a good product, but I would be cautious of spending £250. If it was £200 including carriage I would be tempted to make an offer. At £150/180 I would be tempted to buy it.
You need to consider a 3m 2nd hand Isabella Shadow can be had for around £100 as a starting point/guide. Whilst this does not have the integral ends it would be a similar quality.

I've covered Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands but to no avail in trying to find this or something similar. If you were to look in my garage you would see that my purpose in life is to keep AL, Fiamma, and Wigo in business and, since last week, Caravanstore. It just caught my eye and I reckon would be very popular among Eriba owners. I will admit I'm still tempted but I think realistically starting bids at £250 might be a long time coming. Mind you there's always someone.

If you are attracted by the idea of something with the sides then the lightweight and very cheap Sunncamp Swift Van 260 is with dealers 2nd week of April.
I have a Fiamma Caravanstore permanently on the back and for the front a Kampa Pop Air for long stays and an Isabella Shadow for sun, but at £85 and 5kg I am tempted to buy one for short breaks that turn wet.

this strange website lists your item
https://www.for-sale.co.uk/
the strange thing is if you search for "eriba awning" , "eriba" or "eriba troll awning" you get different descriptions. Its as though this website has picked up previous listing changes.

I can't get the vision of a Caravanstore strung across the rear of an Eriba, It would certainly keep both the the hard shoulder and Lane 2 clear on a motorway
I assume that you mean the Caravanstore is fitted on the nearside Colin, not the back of the van?
