That's a lovely pic. It's all about the dressing, the angle, the lighting, the background. Sadly too many UK sites have been sanitised and lost their bucolic beauty.

That's a lovely picture DM.
Maybe a slight crop on the right so the long grass fills the width and helps bring the big tree onto a dividing third.

SDA, not all UK sites have been sanitised......just the ones which primarily cater for caravans. There are a few proper beauties which primarily cater for tents and the odd [small] campervan, but if you tell them you have a cute little Eriba (rather than a WWB), they're all ears!

I'm not familiar with the concept of a 'sanitised' site because we've never been to one, unless the place at Stratford where the big meets were counts as a sanitised site.
And we didn't choose to go there anyway - we were coerced by some bruiser with a caravan festooned with flags and a beard that reaches down to his Crocs...
I reckon there are a lot of proper beauties. You just have to look for them.
.
PLP, we have booked such a campsite in Pembrokeshire for mid-August to enjoy the location, a little coasteering, and the Perseid meteor shower. They typically exclude caravans and motorhomes, they allow campfires, and it's a dark sky location, so great for stargazing if you like all that. Now that will make a lovely Eriba photo opportunity !!

Were you on the municipal site in Haro just across the bridge? We used this site in June, the sun was shining then too.
Having tried lots of nice Rioja in lots of pricey bodegas we bought a 15 litre box of "young wine" for 20 Euro (bargain) at a wine shop in the main square. Took some carrying back to the van and totally confused a pair of Americans we met on the bridge, they couldn't understand what a caravan was, remembered after a couple of minutes that they call them trailers. Why can't the Americans speak proper English! Wine was for my 60th in August and went down very nicely. Hopefully the Spanish will have us back next year as we will need more cheap wine by then and that Alta Rioja region is well worth revisiting.

Just hope that when we are out of the EU the old duty free rules aren't re-instated regarding the amount of booze you can bring back without paying duty!
