Adding extra 230V sockets - Where to source them?

Back in France I could go to a local 'van dealers and buy them reasonable inexpensively of the shelf. So far I've been met with the 'sharp intake of breath' and 'we could order you some, don't know how long, cost etc...'

Googling is not proving successful either. What are they called? I.e. what to search for etc. I'd like three more with the little sprung cuckoo-clock flap that covers them.

Doug,
An internet search for CBE will provide suppliers who should have what you want in stock.
I used https://clearcutconversions.co.uk/produc...ild-components/ They stock more than what is on the website and are very helpful.

As far as I'm aware CBE don't do sprung cover flaps for their sockets. Berker, on the other hand, do.

Have a look here.

I've used Berker sockets in our van. They were a much better match to the originals than CBE.

I thought CBE at first for our 2014 model, but most of the online guys are selling frames with curved sides. The later Eribas (don't know enough about older ones) have straight sided socket frames. Whilst I can find fully configured units on Clearcut Conversion's website, I cannot find the double frame on it's own. I would like to replace the single socket in the bay window with a double frame, incorporating a single 240v UK socket (I can use the existing one) and a dual USB charging socket, wired into the 12v circuit.

I'm looking for this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/CBE-Socket-Silv...d/dp/B01J2KT0O0 .........but with the straight sided frame.

Have you phoned Clearcut Conversions. They did a mix and match for me on sockets, frames, back boxes, 12v-tv output etc. As I said everything is or at least did not used to be on the site. They make up the combinations shown from individual parts so should hopefully be able to supply..
What I would advise is getting a full new combination to your needs and using the existing as a spare or relocating in the van. I say this as colour cannot be guaranteed as being 100% the same. I moved a couple of my original fit around so that they were not next to/in same site line as the extras I put in.

Just an update to say Clearcut Conversions were very good, all bits received in 72hrs, had to forgo the 'cuckoo-clock' door, for plain fronts, £30 for thrtee sockets, back boxes and front trims, inc. delivery.

Thanks again,

Doug
