Awning light cover

Can anyone give me some pointers on removing the awning light cover on our 2010 Troll 540. The manual says to squeeze the top and bottom but ours is totally rigid and inflexible.
I can see two lugs on the underside but pushing gently with a screwdriver doesn't release anything. I'm worried about pushing too hard.
I've attached a photo of the cover.
Thanks for any help.

You do have to give it a good squeeze. If you are able apply heat (hairdryer) for a few minutes should help as air temp still quite low !

I used a hair dryer to warm the plastic. Apart from the 2 lugs on the straight side there is another one in the middle of the straight side. I did some gentle prodding there with a screwdiver and it came off easily (not too sure how I did it though). The straight side lifted up, the curved side does attach in the centre but it lifted backwards off that. (ie did not clip on)

Nothings ever easy with an Eriba, is it!
Think I'll buy a new lens cover before a further attempt to remove mine. Having looked from above the rubber seal looks perished and I don't want to be without a cover when we next go away.
One of the halogens has failed which is why I want access but from reading that thread I'd be better off replacing them with leds anyway.
Thanks for the link.

I replaced the rubber seal using some of this "Neoprene sponge rubber self adhesive strip 12mm wide x 3mm thick x 5m long - weather, noise seal"
draught excluder
cut a 700mm length off to make it more manageable
trim width to 4mm. difficult to use a pen or pencil to mark a line so I used a pin to make holes, then cut from hole to hole using scissors.
do not remove sticky back. Fit around seal gutter clockwise starting at the round edge, then dropping down in the slot edge (you can push it in with back of a knife blade). peal off the sticky at one end and stick to back (round side) of the light fitting (clockwise). You can carry on down the slot (front) side but you have to keep pushing the seal back in with the knife as you go.

I replaced all my halogen bulbs with these
Osram
They are very long for led bulbs but fit the Puck. Because of their abnormal length people return them so I bought them all "used" for half price and they were perfect. You need someone with an Amazon prime account to get free delivery though!
