Hi just wondered if anyone knew of a round plastic basin which will fit in the sink of new Familia and still allow the sink cover/chopping board to fit properly so that it is level. I bought what I thought was the correct size from Dunelm mill but it's just slightly too big. Thanks David.

I got one for my 2015 Famila from a caravan and camping shop, the bowls tend to be a bit smaller from these outlets.

I am not near my van at the moment, will this one fit your van in the link?

Are you washing up in the van or at the campsite facilities? If in the van, ok but if you're hauling the washing up to the facilities, then it will be far too small. Decathlon do some nifty ones that fold up, are light and easy to store.

AFAIK the sinks for any given Model Year are all the same type/size, no matter which model you have. It's also true that the same sink often runs for several Model Years. So if you find a bowl for a Familia sink it should also fit the Tritons and Trolls.

It is 34cm at the top but tapers down to 28cm in base. Our bowl is 28cm diameter

Thank you. That’s really helpful because I’m trying to kit out the Troll before I collect it next week.

We bought a grey round bowl from ASDA last week. It was £2. It fits perfectly in the sink for off grid washing up, and travels in the sink of our Triton, holding washing up liquid, cloths, scourers, and other cleaning bits and bobs. The cover/chopping board is never on for towing, as it can bounce around and chip the board and/or worktop material. The bowl is slightly too tall for the cover to fit over it, but if we need the cover on for extra worktop space, we'll just take the bowl out.
