To all Eribanauts currently out and about in EU (not UK) how are you find the cost of living compared to the UK? I know the plonk will still be cheaper but what about other food necessities and dining out prices in general ?
Need to know if have to raid piggy bank for next month or will my 150euros last for 3 months ?

The only increase we've found is fuel prices. They are now generally on a Par with the UK but diesel is still a tad cheaper.

We live in France. Everything is very expensive. Only go to the Supermarkets for fuel, and try to remember that if you need more of any item, unless they can make a huge profit, you will not be able to re-stock. Customer Care is not apparent here, bu the weather and scenery and the people are wonderful.

I can't help you as I earn my living here so can't compare to English prices. All i find is that when I go back (rarely) to England my poor pea sized brain expects the prices to be the same as they were 28 years ago.........so I'm always shocked at how expensive prices are lol.
