If you mean the diagonal letter I then I’ve always been reminded of the road and it’s white line disappearing into the distance.

More likely a stylised rocket.

Check out ERIch BAchem's wartime work on the Ba349 Natter, one of a number of 'last-ditch' aircraft developed in extreme haste by the Luftwaffe.

I've always thought there was more than a hint of a propeller about it....

The Natter didn't have a propeller, it was more of a rocket than a jet. It's development and design was sponsored by the SS, rather than the Luftwaffe but if it had proved successful presumably the Luftwaffe would have flown it. As it was the SS dropped the project after the test pilot was killed in a crash on it's first manned flight.

Bachem did assist in the design of the Fiesler Storch (Stork), a propeller driven army co-operation, communications and air observation post single engined plane. It looked very much like it's name and had rough field short take-off and landing capability.

Do you have a source for the SS link?

The Natter got as far as it did because of the personal involvement of Heinrich Himmler, who Bachem had asked for an interview with after the RLM (Reichsluftfahrtministerium) had decided it didn't meet their technical requirements.

Because the project was beset with so many technical issues it dragged on to such an extent that Himmler had begun to lose interest in it some time before the first manned test flight.

There were three successful manned test flights in rapid succession after the one in which Lothar Siebert lost his life.

And there is no dratted apostrophe in the possessive form of it's (sic). There is when it replaces the missing letter in the contraction of 'it is', but not otherwise.

You tell him! He’ll be saying ‘different to’ next or something he ‘could of’ said

The top wouldn't pop and we now all have the excuse of predictive text for inopportune apostrophes but 'could of' needs typing.
