Well, off track again, as usual.
I came across Garstang Blue a couple of months ago, very nice. I also like Shropshire Blue, an over mature Stilton and Castello Blue melts nicely into a cream sauce.

All lovely cheeses Colin. Sur la continent we settled for Roquefort which is also good. You really can't beat a good Stilton though, some nice pickle and some good British bitter IMHO.
Right that's it, I'm officially hungry again and I've had my evening meal

I must admit with Roquefort that I find it difficult to eat with bread or a biscuit as its salty, but it is wonderful in an omelette or potato dauhinoise.
I'm also now hungry. I might search out the 24 month old Comte I brought back from France.

This year I tried 6 month, 13 month and 24 month old cheeses.
Most of the 24 month old is still in the fridge, although a reasonable portion of it is within me.

We were given it for free but never used it so passed it on. This could end up like pass the parcel.
