Hello and thank you.....I bought some Milenco mirrors, a low watt cheap kettle, Cheap toaster and it all works very well. That is after i updated the BIP unit.

Hello, not bothered with any low voltage items just be mindful if running things at same time. Bought £3 kettle from Tesco, and £20 halogen oven for cooking, along with cadac, ohh and also cobb that I wouldn't advise for cleaning on sites as it can be messy

Regarding smoke and CO (not CO2) alarms, you do need to buy the correct type as normal household ones are not necessarily great in a caravan. CO alarms should be Kitemarked to BS EN50291-2 (camping / caravans / boats).
The main problems are due to cold and humidity (same as on a boat which is specifically covered by the Boat Safety Scheme). Anything recommended for a boat should also be good for a caravan.

A good site to check is http://www.safelincs.co.uk ( have used these many times to get the right kit for our boat) but they are one of many.
