I have just bought myself an ERIBA 430Gt after looking and longing for a couple of years .The tow-bar was fitted to my car on Thursday morning. I towed it back from Wales to Nottingham on Friday. I have not towed anything in 30 years so I was a little apprehensive about the journey. I did not have to worry because the ERIBA behaved impeccably. The leisure battery charger fuse was blown so I have sorted that out and now the motor mover works...What a great bit of kit that is.
Any advice on the following points would be appreciated........
1 I did not use extended mirrors but found that just a tiny bit more mirror view would have been useful. What do Eriba folk use?
2 I would like to get hold of any circuit diagrams for the ERIBA and I would like to replace the standard 16amp circuit breaker with an
ELCB ( earth leakage circuit breaker ) BIP power pack fitted at the moment. Has anyone upgraded?
3 Any advice on the type of CO2 and smoke alarm to fit.
4 Any advice on stripping and refurbishing the AL-KO 1300s Hitch and the braking system. Where to source parts at optimum price
5 Any advise on wheel chocks and wheel levelers.
6 AL-KO hitch lock and a very cheap wheel clamp ( thats almost impossible to get on and off) came with the van Any advice on additional security
7 Is it worth considering a small microwave and low wattage toaster and kettle or are there alternatives or better solutions
I know, so many questions, but I have a need to learn about my ERIBA and treat it well. Its great that there is a forum like this. I hope to meet other ERIBA owners in the fullness of time. In the meantime a big HELLO and thank you in anticipation.

As said above there is loads of stuff here on the forum, there’s some very knowledgeable member’s, even a recent discussion on using towing mirror usage,

I would recommend Milenco aero 2’s,

Welcome.
we use Milenco towing mirrors, they are very good and don't move about.
We have a 'normal' cheap, supermarket toaster but a low wattage kettle.
we do not take a microwave but I think others do. We use a Cadac safari chef and simple gas hobs for cooking.
