See where your name is top right? There's a drop-down menu there and signing out is one of the options.

As is a 'latest posts' thing, which is a nifty shortcut to new stuff.

Oh dear.
It seems this option to sign out is not visable when using opera mini to view this web site. I hope you dont mind if i am constantly left signed in as i only ever use my phone for surfing the net.
Sorry

Oh no ive hit a problem.
I only ever use my android phone to access the web and when i use opera mini it hides some of the icons from me. In this case its the one that would let me log out.
Would anybody have any objections if i was logged in all the time.
Sorry about all this.

Hi Johnny,
I use an android tablet and since I had it I rarely turn my personal laptop on (I wish I could do that with the work one lol)... so I am logged in here almost all the time and have yet to be told off ;)

I have the Google Chrome browser on my Android (Motorola Moto G) and that operates exactly the same as our PC and laptop browsers that use Firefox. Can you install Chrome on your phone to free up all the facilities?

I sent you a lengthy PM yesterday which you more than likely haven't seen as they are accessed from the drop down menu under your name that Pete referred to.

I haven't noticed that you are a semi-permanent fixture. You seem to come and go as per normal.

"Told off?" - as if.

I think a lot of people don't log out as such, if you close your browser you are no longer shown as on the forum and when you re open it the cookie on a pc saves you logging on again...............not sure if phones use cookies though?

The grey bar across the top of the chat window has an 'X' to close the window. Are you not seeing this?

While we're all havin' a moan, I sometimes use my Android phone and whilst the referred drop down box with 'PM's' and 'Latest Posts' in it stays 'dropped' on the PC so I can select the required text, on the phone it appears for milliseconds but disappears before I can click on anything. I've given up trying to race it or I'll crack my wrist.

Touch and hold it for a second or two, then it doesn't disappear.

Sheesh, what a Luddite
