It could be a sticking pump impeller and not the tap microswitch.

The test would be to see if the same thing happens when the washroom tap (If you have a washroom) is operated. If neither work then it's almost certainly the pump.

Do I understand you have only one pump? my Triton has a separate water tank and pump in the washroom.

Yes, there's a 15L water container under the sink with a single pump that supplies both sink and wash hand basin.

Thats interesting, as I said mine has 2 separate systems, means there is 2 15L tanks in mine.

Hi I have just checked my tyres prior to going away for the weekend, first jaunt of the year ,they look fine from the outside inside one has an egg in the side wall,my mobile tyre fitter informs me the tyres are car tyres and the egg is a sign of overloading ,two van tyres are being fitted tomorrow ,I am glad I checked .

an egg
don't you mean a bleb? a protruding bulge an bit like a hernia.
can also be a fault in tyre construction, as well as weight overload
good find

Carole said my bloke checked them while I was at the gym as usual on Tuesday and said as good as new.

Hmm1 Not quite but no problems he could see and he did the inside walls as well, using a torch. Anyway our trip to the EOC rally at Charmouth on Saturday seems Ok
