I think the challenge is getting a snug fit of the awning against the lower half of the ‘van. The poles Robin’s came with were straight but of course the side of any Eriba has a rather large kink, so it needs a kinky pole to fit properly. Unless they have changed the design then just beware.
I am sure Robin might add his latest news........

I have bought one and its fine (just put it up in the garden) but have two questions
Firstly how does the draft skirt fit round the steps - there are two slits fitted with zips but I cannot work out how it works....clearly not thinking laterally.
Secondly the ridge /gable end bit at the caravan end..should this be vertical?
Thanks in anticipation

I don't know what the parts of a zip are called but let's say they consist of two parts i) the toothy bits and ii) fasteners. The zips have 4 fasteners. Put two fasteners at either end. Now the two fasteners at the bottom can come apart - just as on removable panels in an awning. Now you have a flap that can be put behind the step. Put the zip back together and adjust the two middle fasteners as required.

The ridge / gable end - it slopes inwards if you have the bit I refer to as the spider. I understand, talking to the Isabella rep recently that the roof line of the awning has been changed.

If you want to discuss PM me and I'll PM my phone number.

Robin

Thanks Robin for you speedy reply, I will try the zips out indoors out the cold!

As for the slope it slopes away from the van... is that the right way or do I need to adjust something? Its a 2017 van and the awning was purchased in January 2019.

Thanks again

Roger

I'm drinking this stuff at the moment, along with the odd fine reed or Bushmills. It is lovely.

Isn't it wonderful how topics take a U-turn.

I posted recently about about an issue with the rear riser bar:
Issue with Isabella awning for 2018 Triton

I'm due to call Isabella later this week and will update with any useful info.

Sorry for delay. Yes, the short central support slopes away from the van. ROBIN
