Has anybody bought one or seen one?

I came across it after e-mailing Vango. I had been in contact with them earlier in 2018 when they said an Eriba specific blow up awning was planned for the 2019 season. This has obviously not materialised but this drive-away caught my eye due to several reasons:-
- footprint is not to dissimilar to the Kampa pop-air 340 and so big enough for the two of us.
- fabric is not the lightweight sweaty thin stuff but a good weight and breathable
- 180-210 awning rail height looks hopeful for sagging not to be an issue
- I don't really relish the drive-away system possibly due to lots of trip ropes and lost tunnel space, but as has been pointed out elsewhere it is good as you can pitch on uneven ground and the tunnel on this is big enough to use and not just walk through.

Problems could be:-
- the awning cord at 2.5m means the caravans rear side window is not usable, but the under-bed locker still is.
- sewn in groundsheet not allowed on C&MC sites (but it does make pitching easy)
- it is not cheap, but Vango quality is good and you get a 2 or 3 year warranty
- trying to find one on display and not just for sale. I have located one at Attwoolls, Whitminster, GL2 7LX. This is near J13 on the M5 and I can hopefully call in to view it on the way to Devon next week.

We went to Attwoolls last week and saw the Jura, but we actually bought the Vango Cruz as we liked the porch area, which the Jura doesn't have (it does have a sloping front though, which would allow the awning to get wet inside whilst opening it if it rained. We are going to use the Cruz next week will let you know how it goes.
We have a Unico Bologna awing which is wonderful, but as I more or less have to put it up on my own, it is impractical for us.

I managed to have a look at this awning today, also at Attwoolls on the way back from Devon. The fabric looks and feels nice, but as you say the slope on the front would let in water. I suppose if you entered from the side this would not be an issue. It is also on the small side, with the 2.4m awning chord to short for a Triton but good for a Familia.
If Vango went through with the earlier idea of an Eriba specific awning and used this as a template it could be good.

Following with interest as about to acquire a Puck. We have a Vango Galli compact awning which was bought for a camper van (Mazda Bongo) and are hoping it will be useable with the Puck. It�s a great quality awning and inflatable so easy to put up. We have the drive away kit for the van but wouldn�t use it for the Eriba of course. (Hope that hasn�t hi-jacked the thread .... 😀). Interested to hear others� views on these awning with an Eriba. Hadn�t heard that Vango we�re thinking of doing an Eriba specific awning. Will keep an eye out for that.

The possibility of an Eriba specific awning from Vango was at very early stages beginning of 2018. The person I spoke to said he hoped something would be on show at end of 2018 ready for the 2019 season. Dealers were not aware of this as the idea was in development and has obviously not happened.
