Various lights not working after winter storage

Hi all,

I've just taken our Eriba out of winter storage and quickly realised that the following lights don't seem to work.

Right Side
- rear light
- indicator

Left Side
- inicator

I've checked and swapped bulbs around so that doesn't seem to be the issue.
I also rigged up a 12v bulb with wires to verify the socket connections on the car. Connecting one end to earth and the inserting the other into the relevant female plug in the socket, I've verified the car is sending all of the correct signals.

Does anybody have any ideas on how to continue troubleshooting?

Any ideas would be great.

Thanks so much
Robin

- How clean is the caravan hook up cable and are the pins in line. I use a green 13 pin alignment thinngy when van is stored.
- Have you had a look underneath the van to check for cable damage.
- Open up the light fittings and clean the contacts.
- You should be able to find an approx 100mm square greyish plastic box under the back of the van or under the rear seating. Check inside that all contacts are clean and dry.

In my humble opinion it is most likely to be Colin's first point above. With both indicators failing this suggests an earth return not connecting at the car/caravan plug/socket

Also you could check the internal caravan fuses , a lot of them are made of cheap metel .

Thanks for all the tips above everyone. I'm going to take another look on Monday and go through each suggestion. I'll report back!
