LED light conversion (1997 Puck)

Advice please.

I had a light blow during my last trip and thought I'd change all the bulbs to LED ones. Problem is the old G4 bulbs are a little smaller than the smallest LED version I have found. This means I can't fit the LED lights unless I remove the lens cover and have them poke out.

Has anyone else managed to find smaller (<32mm) LED bulbs or replacements lens that fit the holders for this style of fitting?

Can�t you cut the pins of the leds shorter?

This is one of the issues and cutting the pins make them sit a little better but the bulb still won't fit with the glass cover. The bulb is touching the glass and the surround is about 2mm from being fitted properly.

Thank you everyone, for some reason my searches drew a blank. Thanks to Pepé Le Pew I went with his suggestion and they arrived the following day. Now fitted, all four changed and working. It's so nice to be eco friendly and reduce the draw on the battery by uptown 80%.

I even have a spare for which Amazon sent a handy little box to store it in...
