Seeking advice on awnings

Does anyone have any advice on what to look for to fit a Pan Familia (1991).

I have looked at a Sunncamp Ultima 260 - but it says suitable for 230cm to about 250. Does that (do you think) make it unsuitable to the Pan?

Eribanut was correct as usual in that I, alias "Oscar" would be along.
Unfortunately you are limited on awnings due to the awning rail/gutter height. This recent thread may be of some use as I posted some pictures of the different awnings/canopies we use. Awnings
If you use the picture gallery and search facility you will find lots of good images ad point of view. Awnings are a very personal thing and we all seem to have our preferences.
If you like the Suncamp Ultra, which will not fit due to the height, then you may want to type this into e-bay or google:-

I think (hope) that I've found a solution - will post a new thread after I have received and tested the beast.

You don't win an "Oscar" if you don't know your awnings !

Well I looked hard and long, and eventually ended up on the website of Funky Leisure - who specialise in awnings and such for VW campervans. Though I don't expect to receive it until Monday, I bought the Outdoor Revolution Cayman Classic, which is a lot, lot cheaper than the blow up things, and which looks as though it'll do the job nicely. I chose this one because it seems possible to get into the caravan without having to go through the awning itsself - there's a kind of "back porch" or tunnel, with a zipped door in it.

They have other awnings that would seem to be an Eriba owner's end-of-nightmare.
Will post again when I have tried it out in a neighbour's field ...

Good choice in my opinion and a very popular awning before all these air awnings were created.

The one thing you might experience is "pooling" on the roof of the connecting "Back porch" as you call it. The simple solution I seem to remember was a pole with a sweeping brush head but I think there have been more professional looking "fixes" suggested.
