Awning struggle

I have a Triton 420 (2005) and am still searching for that elusive perfect awning. I have had a Kampa Pro air 340 (2017) but found it sooo heavy to lift up to thread through the channel, plus it kept coming out aof the channel at the feeding end as I was feeding it through. I camp on my own and don’t have full use of my right arm ( no muscles!) so sold it and bought an Outdoor revolution air awning with a drive away kit, which means I can inflate the awning then join it to the Caravan, not bad but not a great fit, but acceptable. Now I want a small, lightweight awning for short weekend trips, the Kampa and Outdoor Revolution weigh well over 20kgs! Any suggestions will be very welcome! H

I had the same problem with the kampa awning being so heavy9though excellent. bought a vango siesta low air awning first class ,reasonable price and light weight. I use some bathroom sucker hooks (e bay) the ones able to take 2kgs weight .these are attached to the side of my triton 420 to hold it in place

Do you always need an awning.? We just use a solette and ground sheet.
