Mike,
I'm guessing your carrier is a Thule/Omni due to the colour. From memory I think the tube diameters differ to the Fiamma parts Tony has.

I know the diameters are different but the Fiamma are bigger so could be used by wrapping something suitable around the tube.
Mike hasn’t responded so I guess he isn’t interested though.

A bit of bike inner tube or butyl rubber should do the job.
Mikes probably having a nap. Poor chap's getting on.

Self amalgamating tape would be the easiest way to pack out the tube. This is so useful I think everyone should have a roll on board. As it is nice and rubbery it is much easier to get a good fit than pvc tapes. Just keep adding a bit until it is the right size remembering to stretch it out when wrapping. As the name suggests it amalgamates to form a solid lump.
