Cleaning plastic grab handles

For some time I've been thinking of buying four new handles as the original ones on our 2003 Triton were badly discoloured and looking well past their best.

Yesterday while tarting the van up pre-jaunt, I rubbed the plastic with Fenwick's Black Streak Remover and to my surprise most of the muck came off without too much effort.

Unfortunately, I didn't take a 'before' shot but here's an 'after' and I think you'll agree, they don't look too bad.

Looks like they are coming up quite nicely. I remember removing mine, giving them a scrub with 1:4 bleach:water mix and them leaving them to soak for 24hrs. They came up a treat.
