Mine are just standard selectable from the keyboard rather than gifs linked from an external site

Well I can see the drinking smiley (no comments please) but the rest are still little boxes. Hey ho, I was already confused by all this tech so I'll quit while I'm ahead and live without smileys. They do have their uses though, it does let folk know when you are joking and intending no offence.
