I'm not going to state the obvious MCP joke as I got into trouble the last time.

Not that I know much about it but because you can get in behind it, it looks fixable. Do you know a good tradesman?

Trouble is, its 14 year old plastic, I think I'd rather get a new one, the bushes for the screws that hold in the top light are gone so I would never trust a repair.

Mine was wrecked as a result of an accident, and I got the replacement through Jandi. It was £86.84 + vat for the plastic moulding, and it's supplied white so will need to be painted.

That doesn't seem a bad price. With a lot of my bits deteriorating I am now encouraged that I can replace them if necessary. What have I said.

Managed to get one from Witoma in Netherlands, £85, no vat, and as we were over in France and had a couple of days to spare, we went and picked it up, also had a look around one of the big camper shops and bought a couple of items we needed

It could have been a lot worse, so I'll say well done at that cost.

Now of course the next question is, does anyone know the paint colour or code for the rear light pod of an 05 troll?.

Dave,
I don't think it is wort trying to get the original colour as it will have faded so much. How about telling the sprayers to match what they see. If they cannot take the other rear light trim and number plate surround off and get all sprayed.

Hi Dave,

I had my roof and pop-top resprayed as it was getting very chalky, and all the mudguards, hitch cover, and rear lights re sprayed as the top coat of clear lacquer was
peeling away. This was done by M&G caravans in Royston, they did a fantastic job. It's a bit of a shlep from you, but I can thoroughly recommend them.

Mike.

Thanks, but my son in law has his own accident repair business and he is a sprayer refinisher, hopefully he wont charge his old dad in law too much.
I thought I might have a different colour.
