Following your input I looked it up and found confirmation at the bottom of an article called "Impacts of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations on the Event Industry and for Portable Power Distribution BS7671:2018"

Don't buy anything 'til you have your van. It's UK industry practice to include an EHU cable and step amongst the standard equipment included with a new van purchase. On Eribas the step is fitted anyway and I'd assume the cable comes too but best wait to check.

No EHU cable with a new van from AL/LF, can't comment about other dealers though...
