Wheel balancing.

Our local caravan engineer, suggested that we get the wheels balanced. Never heard of this before even though he has serviced previous vans for us.
Does anyone else have this done. Is it necessary.Thanks.

Yes, we most certainly do. It costs nothing at most tyre fitting services and many folk believe that it's bound to help.

If you don't have your car wheels balanced then the car would shake rattle and roll ! Same thing for the Eriba although as you not in it who don't know Probably why so many people report doors, mirrors etc falling off during transit.

I would not consider not getting them balanced. If you could see the damage that out of balance wheels can cause it is a no brainer.

Why are the vans supplied new by Hymer with the wheels not balanced?
I'm on my 4th Eriba having towed them since 2003. None have had balanced wheels and nothing has worked loose or fell off in transit [yet]
