Hi All, new to the forum, new to Eriba and new to caravans!!

I just bought my first Eriba Triton 1988. It’s in great condition apart from the exterior trim moulding and plastics which have weathered and deteriorated. The pieces of mounding that sit inside the aluminum trim that covers the panel joints And surrounds the bottom and top of the caravan etc. my question is, is there a supplier of these mouldings and plastics such as exterior handles (locates front and rear of the body).

Any help very gratefully received!

Hi Mike and welcome to the forum.
If you type"herzim trim" into the forum search bar then you'll get lots of info.
As regards the handles. Carefully flick open the hinged plastic screw covers and remove the handles from the van. Scrub with a mix of 1 part bleach to 4 parts water and leave overnight before scrubbing again. Rinse off and dry. You may need to repeat this but they should come up a treat. Refix having first quirted a good quality mastic into the screw holes around the van. I find Roofers Mate form Screwfix is very good. The proper sealant used by the caravan industry is Sikaflex 221 or 228 I believe. Do NOT be tempted to use silicon. If the hinged tabs broke off when opening them up then dont worry, just stick them back in place using the mastic and a bit of masking tape to hold them in place whilst it cures.

That’s great info. Thanks! I’m also looking for a source of the rubber strip that sits between the aluminium moulding and the body of the caravan, is there an name for this that could also search? Thanks!

There is a mastic type tape mentioned recently on the forum used for awning rail repairs. I think it was this one:-

I've never found a name for it and I've looked hard. Someone called it an underlay. It's one piece and requires the aluminium moulding to be removed. Someone on here has done it but they are no longer members. He had to suspend the aluminium 'in situ' as it is easy to distort. Jandi can supply it.

Hi Mike and
The above link is the 12mm Herzim style strip that fits in the middle of the aluminium strip to cover the screws. Comes in various colours. Sorry if you are talking about something else. We have also repaired a leaking rail if you need any info.

Regards Chris and Keith

Mike, I think Werbung: this may be what you're after although it's grey - the original is white.

You'll need to check it's the right width, but it does look about right.

There's similar in white, Werbung: here.

Well spotted John. I also found them and they are too narrow for my Puck. 45mm width needed for mine.

In that case, Steve there's only one thing you can do.

Get a smaller Puck
