Water Ingress Test After Warranty Period

Hello,

My 310 is a 2014 model. Looking in the owners manual, Water ingress test 5 was completed last year and there is no additional space to log any more. The body inspection goes up to year 11.

How does this correspond to the warranty? I guess, the damp warranty is now expired.

Is it worth me getting a damp check each year for peace of mind (despite being out of warranty), or do others have this done alternate years or not at all?

In terms of the general warranty, I guess this has also expired? Any point paying main dealer prices?

I'd value some other owners oppinions.

Thanks.

I would be tempted to have one more official Hymer water ingress check. I know it is an expensive item but your warranty is for 6 years so if your 2014 van is not quite 6yrs old and they found something then it would be covered.
If your van is actually now older than 6 years I would still have a water ingress check done but as part of the overall service at a good independent.
