Not received ours yet, on its way, and only talking today about the possibility of visiting France again next year maybe late summer. I wonder if the missing campsites have fallen prey to Covid lack of tourists? ACSI did say in an e mail that several sites were no longer in the book.

Having spent some considerable time translating the campsite numbers of the dozen or so campsites we've earmarked from this year's numbers to next year's numbers, I started to wonder why they need to change the numbers each year?
Yes, they are numbered loosly in alphabetic order and by country but surely it would be far more economical for them to number all their particiating campsites from 1000 to around 4000 and let them keep that number. Any new addition numbers can be added onto the end or take the place of any campsite leaving the scheme. They can still be logged in order of country.
At the moment, although the bulk of the campsites remain largely the same, ACSI have to re-compile the two books and the map book with freshly issued numbers. Yes, they need to publish the books and map annually but by using the same numbers each year, the lion's share of the work is done.
By the way, double check the campsite of your choice by checking the map book. I've come across some which are listed in the correct deparment of the country but on the map they have moved to a new area of the country hundreds of miles away.

Roger,
I've checked through about twelve sites and as you say some numbers have changed. Strange that they do this and make work for themselves.

I've just found that out Roger. The website is still showing 2020 site numbers that obviously differ to the 2021 books.
I'll not bother looking at campsites again until the website is updated for 2021. I think what confused me was one of the campsites was quoting availability for 2021 so I thought all had been updated. Must have been a glitch.

I found the easiest way to correlate was using the small map book provided. The 2020 map book and the 2021 map book are identical right down to their page numbers. The only difference are the numbers in the blue ovals on each map page. The ovals are in the same place and just the numbers change. If the oval is missing then it would appear that the campsite has cancelled its agreement with ACSI.
In saying that we have visited campsites in the past where ACSI have taken their money (approx. 1000euros) and not added them to the book (or moved them on the map book into a total different area of the country).

And on another note, I have the combi-subscription and I thought this included the app, but I cannot figure out how to get it without paying.I've e-mailed but I imagine it will take a while to get a response.
