John, if you are visiting Europe and can do so out of main school holiday season you can save a fortune. Last year we had over 4 weeks on Il de Re, Dordogne and Loire in June/July and spent about £16 a night.

New one on me, never heard of it, so just googled it.
As ACSI has so many website pages John, this is the one that is of most interest to members. It's the Camping Card Site.
https://www.campingcard.co.uk/
From this page you can develop your search by selecting a country on the map. Let's say France :- (click France on the Map)
https://www.campingcard.co.uk/france/
From there choose a department in France:- (Lets say Brittany; Click)
https://www.campingcard.co.uk/france/brittany/
It says there are 131 campsites in Brittany that accept ACSI Camping Cards and offer really good discounts (not including France's summer season, Normally mid July and through August)
Click the 131 box to show campsites.
Click on the red dots to show details of the campsites.
I notice that ACSI are now boasting 40 campsites in the UK.:- https://www.campingcard.co.uk/united-kingdom/
31 in England :- https://www.campingcard.co.uk/united-kingdom/england/

(ps, as part of the annual cost (about 19 euros) you also get 2 books listing these campsites plus a book of locations, also a phone app. You can expect to save 19 euros if you spend a couple of days on a ACSI campsite.

Keith/Christine,
have a look here as it may be clearer. https://webshop.acsi.eu/en/campingcard-a...ption-2021.html
I get confused with my subscription as I initially signed up for 2 years on a rolling contract and this included the app.
I have not really used the app as I find it easier to use the website to search for sites.

The App is very good as you get reviews of the sites. I would not recommend buying via CMC however as last year 2019 I bought from them but only ferry to Santander discovered had left card at home. Sent email to CMC, no reply. Called to see if they could do anything , no sorry!!! Called ACSI explained the problem and within an hour they emailed an attachment of my card. No problem with having it on my phone.
Bought the 2020 pack, still unopened. Anyone want it going cheap!!

Thanks for answers Colin and Roger
I have ordered and looks like I get the App for free the first year. Anyway paid 15.95 for books, card, app and postage.

So the ACSI books arrived today. Let the hope and planning begin. Although in our case it began some time ago so I now need to seek out the 2021 campsite numbers as they will differ from the 2020 ones.
