After reading Fuel company Shell is ending the supply of Autogas liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) at its UK forecourts, citing low demand and prohibitive compliance costs. ... Many of our Autogas sites are therefore increasingly underutilised, which is why the LPG offering is being phased out.30 Oct 2020

With the likes of Safefill light weight refillable cylinders is this going to be the writing on the wall? Safefill site Morrison’s fuel stations for filling there bottles but only a few do lpg. I had been wondering about a Safefill bottle but this would need clarification

I would think hard about whether you really need to do anything about gas provision. I say that because we've found that a 6kg cylinder lasts us more than two seasons, so in the scheme of things the cost of gas is miniscule.

If your van gets a lot of winter use and either hasn't got electric heating or is often used off grid then gas may be worth worrying about. However if you're normally on EHU and it has electric heating then you'll only use gas for the hob.

I had nothing to do on this hot afternoon

Up till now we have had only gas heating in the caravan but after this last weekend I will carry a electric fan heater as insurance but it will be buried in one of the boxes because I don’t really won’t it in the way, there’s no spare room in a 320. Gas heater seems back to normal after the weekend’s hiccups, II think I can only put it down to wind. 1st time in almost 2 years it’s done it. I’ve also just received my extension flue to go in to my box of goodies & if it ever does it again I’ll try that first
