Hi JC, thanks for all your advice. I have thought of another option, but do you think this will work ? My thought is to buy the Jackery 240 watt solar power station. This has a built in controller so a cost saved there. I could then plug the Jackery solar panel into the Jackery power bank and my Troll power lead into the outlet of the power bank. Because the power bank has “pass through” charging I am guessing I could run some lights and water pump from this set up, and at the same time have a charged power bank to run the lights at night. My only worry is if nothing was being used and say my leisure battery (95ah) was say 50% charged, would it be too much draw (?) from the Jackery to top up the leisure battery ? Or does the L battery just trickle charge. Many thanks in advance. Robbie

From what I can see it looks like the Jackery powerbank is designed as a standalone system and doesnt have a charging system for an external battery.

Its own batteries are Lithium whereas your van battery is acid or gel: I wouldn't connect them together via the 12V outlet since there'd be no control of the current between them: if the leisure battery was at 50% and you connected the Jackery to it you'd be transferring a lot of uncontrolled power which neither unit would like.

If you really like/want the Jackery unit you could install a battery changeover switch to select either the leisure battery or the Powerbank as the source of power to the van controller

You wouldn't of course select the "both batteries" option since this would connect the two battery systems together in parallel:)

Hi JC, thank you again for your help and advice. I am now back to the drawing board, but your 2 way switch is a very good start. Thanks.
